Our biochemistry faculty seek to understand signaling mechanisms and pathways regulating such processes as cellular proliferation and responses to oxidative stress, using a variety of paradigms and techniques. From environmental toxicology to cancer and trauma, our faculty have an appreciation of the translational opportunities offered by biochemical approaches to these important health issues.
